We are looking for a warden couple to join our small team to assist with the running of our holiday park from March 2018 until November 2018. Our park consists of a mixture of privately owned holiday caravans/lodges (67) and rental homes (28).

We are located in a secluded and delightful setting on the outskirts of Bassenthwaite, in the northern Lake District, Cumbria.

The main duties and responsibilities between the couple would include: shop work, welcoming guests upon their arrival, cleaning and laundry duties, manning the customer maintenance line, general maintenance and gardening.

Successful applicants should be physically capable with a positive attitude, strong sense of customer service and pride in their work. Applicants should also be reliable, with a clean driving licence and vehicle, have an aptitude for problem solving and a flexible attitude towards work.

While not essential; intermediate I.T. skills, some shop/retail experience and basic D.I.Y. skills would be an advantage.

Hours of work are to be confirmed (but would be approx. 30 hours per person per week) and to include weekends and bank holidays. Successful applicants would also be given two full days off per week (together). Along with your salary we are also offering a one bedroom timber lodge as your accommodation.

You would normally work 3 days per week (with possible additional days/ hours at busy periods of the season), with three overnight on calls - where you would be off duty but one person would be asked to be on site in case of emergencies and to do the evening walk around the site. Any additional hours during busy periods would be paid at national minimum wage. When you are not on the day or overnight rota your free time is completely your own to enjoy the lovely local area.

Job Vacancy: Seasonal Warden Couple

Due to the popularity of the site we are seeking to employ our first Warden couple for 2018.

We are looking for an active and enthusiastic couple or pair of friends, with a can do attitude and great customer service to join our team for the 2018 season to assist with the operation of our site. Applicants should work well under pressure and as part of a team, be able to work under their own initiative and prepared to work varied hours. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential if you have a willingness to learn, enthusiasm, flexibility, a sense of humour and an ability to tactfully deal with any problems that come your way.

We will also consider single applicants who are able to fulfil the duties of the role which would involve seven day working.

Due to our location at least one applicant will need to have a driving licence and access to a vehicle. Public transport links are poor and mobile phone reception is limited.

Length of contract: Late-April to Early-October 2018. You will be required to manage your working week. This will require you to work more (7 days split shifts) in the busy parts of the season and less during the quieter times bearing in mind that you will be required to work most weekends and Bank Holidays. We require a commitment to stay for the whole season.

Duties will include:

Front of House
Manage online bookings using existing system and email / phone enquiries
Meet and greet guests, plan & oversee pitch allocation and conduct familiarisation site tours
Help guests to pitch tents in bad weather (or sometimes good weather too!)
Ensure guest needs are met give assistance to ensure an enjoyable stay
Troubleshooting - deal with unexpected events and emergencies in consultation with owners.
Sell fire wood daily

Clean the loos and showers to maintain our high cleanliness standards, minimum twice daily
Empty loos according to need (on average once daily) – PPE and training provided
Clean washing up areas, ensure refuse collection and disposal runs smoothly and litter pick where necessary
Changeover of glamping tents, laundry, washing up, hoover and restock and report any issues

Grass cutting using ride on mower and strimmer – PPE and training provided
General maintenance, repairs and painting. Basic plumbing/joinery skills would be an advantage but not essential

Answer telephone and oversee routine admin of feedback forms
Support events and activities as agreed with owners
Keep owners regularly informed of any issues affecting campsite operations

Supported by directors, play a part in delivering environmental education activities with families

The role would suit a couple as we do currently have a vacancy for a housekeeper too, cleaning 30 to 40 hours per week.

The site has 26 hardstanding pitches for campervans, caravans or motorhomes, up to 100 tent pitches, a 36-bed bunkhouse, a traditional country inn with bed and breakfast rooms and two furnished yurts. The site facilities include male and female toilet and shower blocks, a laundry area and pot washing area, as well as a galley kitchen for exclusive use of bunkhouse residents.

Vacancies until at least the end of October, but as we are open all year we could extend the jobs to include the winter months. Hours would average 40 per week over 5 days Friday through to Tuesday inclusive, salary for warden £16,300.00 per annum, housekeeper paid hourly at minimum wage.

Access to a car would be an advantage as we are a rural site. The site is located on the Kirkstone Pass; the nearest village is Patterdale 3 miles away, or the nearest town is Windermere 12 miles away. Public transport links are poor and there is no mobile phone reception.

A pitch with hook up for a motorhome or caravan can be provided or alternatively accommodation and meals are available at a cost of £40.00 per person per week.

We are looking for five couples to join us for the 2018 season (May to September). Candidates must be hardworking and flexible and keen to make a positive contribution to the successful running of our family-owned and run park.

Each couple will undertake toilet and shower cleaning, groundworks/bins, night wardening/cleaning (Whitsun/July/August only) and will be required to work in the reception/shop as per the weekly rota (swapping days will not be permitted).

Computer skils essential to be able to carry out your reception duties.

Successful candidates must be professional in their approach to their work and our guests and must be willing to get along with fellow staff to ensure the smooth operation of our business.

Some early mornings each week will also be required as per the rota to bake the fresh bread and pastries for the guests (6am starts during Whitsun/July/August may be required).

The hours for each couple will vary from approx. 25 during May/June/September which will rise to approx. 35-40 during Whitsun/July/August. Each couple works the same hours and enjoy the same days off.

You will need your own motorhome or caravan (no bigger than 7m) which you are happy to live in for the duration of your contract. It must be clean and tidy. Please note that additional tents etc will not be allowed on your pitch (attached awnings allowed). The pitch provided, in addition to your wage payment, is for staff use only and friends/family will not be permitted to stay on staff pitches.

Please ensure that you familiarise yourself with our Park and the area (via our website and review sites) to ensure that you have a good understanding of the levels of customer service and standards that we will require.

You will be required to have or undertake basic food hygiene (online) and one person from each couple must have or undertake first aid training.

Hoburne Blue Anchor require an enthusiastic and friendly couple to help maintain and manage our popular touring field for the 2018 season.

Along with the meeting and greeting of holiday makers, duties will include basic maintenance, grounds work and cleaning.

A full driving license, basic IT skills and excellent customer service skills are essential.

Our 2018 season runs from March until the end of October. Hours are variable depending on the needs of the business.

The Hollies Kessingland Leisure Resort near Lowestoft in Suffolk has direct access to a beautiful sandy beach.

The park has 425 tent/touring pitches, glamping accommodation and 75 lodge holiday home plots. There is a small children's play area, a communal barbecue and pristine toilet and shower blocks with showers and hairdryers.

We have many returning guests who enjoy the relaxed and friendly approach at The Hollies.

We are looking for a friendly couple with at least one year experience working as a warden couple, with a can do attitude, who are flexible, practical, proactive and have good communication skills.

The couple should both be able to demonstrate high standards of customer care. Both roles are diverse and as part of our warden team should include building positive relationships with customers to ensure the best in customer service, to keep check on the campsite during night hours if needed and ensure that our toilet/shower blocks and the park grounds are maintained to an excellent standard at all times.

One role would be to include grass cutting, strimming, evening/night time security and gas bottle deliveries.

The other role would be to include supporting the housekeeping team with the cleaning of our toilet/shower blocks and our self catering accommodation to an excellent standard. To have an understanding of our booking system to enable checking in of late arrivals.

Both roles are to include showing guests to pitches to include late arrivals in the evening.

These roles are to work alongside our existing wardens to include sole responsibility of the park on their days off for two days per week.

Duration of employment will be 1st April - 30th September 2018. The hours will be 35 hours per week over five days in busy periods. The hours/days will be varied and will include mornings/afternoons/evenings and weekends.

Training will be given to include our booking system, security barrier and electric hook up systems.

A full driving licence will be required for at least one of the candidates.

The wardens will be expected to provide their own caravan/motorhome.

A hardstanding pitch with electricity will be provided.

We are looking for a seasonal warden couple to join our team for the 2018 season and assist with the operation of our holiday park.

Our holiday business occupies a stunning location at the foot of Ben Nevis in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. We take pride in the quality of the service we provide and promote a friendly and relaxed atmosphere for our employees and guests.

We need a hard-working, enthusiastic and friendly couple to assist with general duties across the park. These include:
- Park supervision
- Cleaning park facilities
- Checking tickets
- Basic repairs
- Litter-picking and cleaning outdoor areas
- Assist shop and reception

Ideally you will have experience in a similar role.

You will be required to work form Early May to late September and we may be able to extend this a bit with reduced hours.

This is a full-time position, 35-40 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days. The hourly rate is £8.50 with an end of season bonus.

We can provide a pitch and electricity free of charge if you have your own caravan. Alternatively, we may be able to provide a static caravan.
