Job Vacancy: Caravan park Warden

We are seeking a conscientious and hardworking seasonal Holiday Park Warden on our family run cara-van park. You must be able to work under your own initiative and be prepared to work bank holidays and weekends. This opportunity would suit someone with some experience of working on a caravan park or a gardener/handy man.
• The role will involve day to day maintenance and other duties as required, including but not limited to:

• Welcoming guests to their pitches
• Moving caravans onto pitches
• Looking after our guests during their stay
• Maintaining the Park’s high standards.
• Looking after rented accommodation
• Handling and dealing with complaints
• Bookings and cash handling
• Gardening and keeping grounds
• Operating gardening machinery
• Cleaning facilities
• Gas and electric supply for residents

You will need to be able to deal with any jobs that arise in a friendly and professional manner.

Permanent Job vacancy: Warden/On-site Couple

We have 100 Touring and Camping pitches, we offer a range of self-catering accommodation and the park is home to 100 private lodges / static caravans each on their own plot. We also have a Bar / Restaurant on site, The 12 lost churches, with a growing reputation for both food and a great night out.

Job Vacancy: Warden/On-site Couple

We are looking for a conscientious, friendly couple to work as a central part of our small team to support the day to day running of the park, especially camping and touring.

Main duties
• arrivals and departures
• late arrivals and out of hours cover
• assisting customers to set up or other issues that arise
• cleaning and maintaining shower and toilet blocks (including water points and waste points)
• assisting the maintenance and appearance of the park, specifically Camping and Touring Areas
• grass-cutting, gardening and tidying of grounds
• litter picking and bin rotation
• other general maintenance and repairs
• gas bottle deliveries
• Other duties as required

One person would take on the role of Park Warden and be responsible for the majority of the above. The second person could take on a significant part of the duties above (for example regular cleaning and maintenance of the Toilets/Showers)

During peak times there may be additional work that could include housekeeping, shop work, maintenance work, support in the bar/restaurant and/or in the office.
During the slower months it would be expected that hours would be made up supporting the maintenance team and the general running of the park.

The warden couple will undertake a core of 45 hours per week. This may fluctuate depending on season.
