Job Vacancy: Warden Couple

Warden Couple required for 2018 season for a mixed woodland park in Norfolk with tourers, pods and a swimming pool. Pitch for tourer/motorhome provided.
1st March start.

One role is primarily a cleaner with some office based work and evening check ins to do minimum 30 hours/week over 6 days with more hours in the peak season .

The second role is as a grounds person. Applicant must have gardening and basic DIY skills for outside physical work. Minimum 40 hours over 6 days.

Pay to be discussed.

A smart appearance with friendly attitude and desire to learn more essential than experience.

Pitch for tourer or motorhome provided including electricity and rates.

You can either enjoy the delightful surroundings or use the site as a base to explore the historic city of Cambridge, or local National Trust properties, Anglesey Abbey, Wicken Fen Nature Reserve or Wimpole Hall Estate.

Job Vacancy: Volunteer Assistants

Our Picturesque National Trust campsite at Houghton Mill is in a wonderful location, with 56 caravan/motorhome pitches and 15 tent pitches it is always very busy and we want our visitors to return time and again.

We are looking for someone or a couple to join our small team on a voluntary basis. This is an extremely versatile position where you can be as involved as you wish with the day to day running of the site. Requirement to be onsite overnight and to check in late arrivals as and when necessary. The role can be developed to cover reception duties, light cleaning and maintenance should the candidate(s) be interested in increasing their involvement on the site.

Full induction and training will be supplied in line with National Trust policies, while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and guidelines.
A fantastic opportunity for anyone who wants to gain and pass on experience in this field, or just loves camping and caravanning and wants to be involved.

Whilst the role is unpaid we supply a free pitch with electric hook during your stay for your own caravan/motorhome.
We ask for minimum of a two week period and depending on the length of your stay with us will also offer you an additional free pitch in off peak times.
